This year’s bottling offers up youthful aromas of ripe black cherries and briary currents that are seamlessly combined with an integrated layer of toasty oak spice, showing hints of baked cinnamon and chestnut. Supple and rounded tannins combined with juicy acidity keep the wine balanced from front to back.
This lush Chardonnay has plenty of character and is loaded with perfectly ripened apples, caramelized pineapple, and toasted brioche, which team together to form the foundation of this deep and delightfully expressive vineyard selection. The optimally ripened fruit is complimented by a tasteful measure of slightly creamy oak that hints at notes of crème Brule, along with a dollop of buttery richness that lasts well into the lengthy finish. The mouthfeel is slightly viscous and supple on entry but manages to maintain youthful energy thanks to some carefully integrated supporting acidity that assures that the wine is as carefully balanced as it is wonderfully rich.

This year’s bottling offers up youthful aromas of Bing cherries and ripe strawberries that are seamlessly combined with a delicate layer of dark soils, sage, and smoked nuts. Supple and silky tannins combined with modest acidity keep the wine in perfect balance from start to lingering finish.
The 2021 Small Lot Cabernet Franc from Wente Vineyards is wonderfully layered with aromas of red cherry, baked cinnamon and molasses. Ripe red cherry continues to form the core of this wines flavor profile along with a touch of olive and warm vanilla oak into the finish. This medium bodied wine is polished and refined to such a degree that it is eminently attractive right now but should age and evolve beautifully for the next seven years.
The 2022 nth DEGREE Pinot Noir from Wente Vineyards demonstrates the depth of the Dijon Clone. Dark ruby in the glass, the wine smells of black cherry and blackberries framed by vanilla and toasted oak. Flavors of ripe dark fruits and baking spices are followed by silky tannins.
Our 2023 Louis Mel Sauvignon Blanc displays classic fruit combined with juicy acidity which adds up to a wine bursting with youthful exuberance. This vintage showcases notes of classic grapefruit with additional notes of white apricot, guava, and key lime. These notes are complemented by fruit-driven flavors of sweet Meyer lemon and candied citrus. This wine is well rounded with a balanced acidity, complimented by a touch of minerality on the finish.
Our 2023 Morning Fog Chardonnay bursts with aromatics of citrus and green apple complemented by hints of toasty oak and vanilla from barrel-aging. This wine is balanced by a lingering minerality and natural acidity to create a beautiful wine.
The 2023 Wente Vineyards Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc has beautiful
aromatics of green melon and passion fruit framed by subtle sweet oak. The
wine has flavors of ripe grapefruit and honeydew backed by bright acidity.

The focus of this small lot program is to create wines that reflect the distinctive terroir of the Wente family’s estate vineyards in Livermore Valley and Arroyo Seco, Monterey.
Our 2021 Serenity Red Wine is a proprietary blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah, Grenache, and Mourvedre that impresses with its exotic substance, riveting depth, and engaging complexity. There is plenty of sweet oak that showcases baked cinnamon and vanilla bean which perfectly compliments the abundant candied red cherry and dried fruit flavors.
The 2021 Duetto exhibits a measure of depth and richness that is carefully honed by a sense of refinement and elegance that is easy to appreciate. Core aromas of black cherry and red plum are framed by a judicious layering of complex oak spices highlighting notes of fresh ground cinnamon and coco powder. Properly rounded, this wine shows terrific balance between tannin structure and mid-palate richness which will help it to age elegantly through 2028 at a minimum.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is fully packed with notes of black cherry and red plums from front to back and its optimally ripened fruit is decked out with a generous measure of French oak spice including toasted vanilla bean, polished mahogany, and a hint of clove and winter spice.
