Our 2022 Beyer Ranch Zinfandel encompasses all of the traits that Zinfandel lovers crave. Deep and concentrated blackberry aromas are complemented by layered notes of spice, briar, and notable rich, creamy oak.

The 2022 Duetto offers depth and elegance, with aromas of pomegranate and black currant, complemented by oak spices, espresso, and cocoa. Well-balanced with fine tannins and mid-palate richness, it’s ideal for aging and food pairings.

Our 2022 Meritage shows the balanced depth and richness that Bordeaux style blends bring to the table. The nose opens with red and black cherries, anise and currants framed by warm baking spice and vanilla bean French oak notes. The rich and full entry on the palate gives way to supple lingering tannins.

Our 2022 Merlot has aromatics of candied red cherry and a touch of blueberry jam, a sweet and fruity profile, while the notes of cocoa and baked cinnamon add layers of complexity and warmth. A full body wine with s substantial mouth feel that finishes with big silky tannins. A well-structured wine that provides a balanced and smooth conclusion to each sip.

The 2022 nth DEGREE Syrah from Wente Vineyards leads with a mix of ripe plum and smoked meat aromas that are framed by clove and roasted coffee. Flavors are reminiscent of black raspberry, white pepper, and toasted vanilla. While rich and full ABV: bodied, this wine also showcases a velvety roundness and lingering plush tannins.

The 2022 Wetmore Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of black currant and cassis, complemented by a hint of "Livermore Dust." Creamy oak notes bring roasted cocoa nibs and hardwood complexity. Our Southern Hills Cabernet Sauvignon is named for our vineyards located along the southern hills of the Central Coast. The Wente family farms approximately 400 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards using the two clones originating from California wine pioneer Charles Wetmore’s Bordeaux cuttings in the 19th century. With well-drained rocky soils and unique microclimates, the Southern Hills vineyards are in the most desirable settings, with exposures ideal for growing Cabernet Sauvignon of distinct character, depth, and intensity.

The 2022 Baily Hill Pinot Noir is a bright and fruit forward example of cool coastal growing. This year’s bottling offers up youthful aromas of Bing cherries and ripe strawberries that are seamlessly combined with a delicate layer of dark soils, sage, and smoked nuts. Supple and silky tannins combined with modest acidity keep the wine in perfect balance from start to lingering finish.

The 2022 Artist Series Serenity is an expressive and enjoyable wine, distinguished by its lively and well-integrated fruit and spice notes. The 2022 Sonata Red Wine is an Australian inspired blend of Cabernet and Syrah that impresses with its exotic substance and engaging complexity. Abundant aromas of blackberry and plum fruit form the essence of this elegantly styled wine. Complimentary oak spices of fresh vanilla bean with a hint of glazed caramel do an excellent job of framing the core of dark fruit flavors in the mid-palate. Bright acidity and youthful tannins will help this wine to shine at your dinner table tonight but will also promise good things for those that can hold a bottle for five or six years.

The 2021 Duetto exhibits a measure of depth and richness that is carefully honed by a sense of refinement and elegance that is easy to appreciate. Core aromas of black cherry and red plum are framed by a judicious layering of complex oak spices highlighting notes of fresh ground cinnamon and coco powder. Properly rounded, this wine shows terrific balance between tannin structure and mid-palate richness which will help it to age elegantly through 2028 at a minimum.

The 2021 Small Lot Cabernet Franc from Wente Vineyards is wonderfully layered with aromas of red cherry, baked cinnamon and molasses. Ripe red cherry continues to form the core of this wines flavor profile along with a touch of olive and warm vanilla oak into the finish. This medium bodied wine is polished and refined to such a degree that it is eminently attractive right now but should age and evolve beautifully for the next seven years.

Our 2022 Aly’s Pinot Noir was crafted to showcase the Arroyo Seco AVA terroir. The wine has expressive aromas of cherry, cranberry, rose petal, forest floor and cinnamon. Bright flavors of red cherry and vanilla are rounded out by focused acidity.

The 2022 Artist Series GSM opens with aromas of cherry sauce, plum, smoked meat and brown sugar. Flavors hit all of the markers for a Rhone style blend offering continuous fruit with a subtle bit of white pepper and earth on the finish. The palate is bright and finishes with fine grained tannins.

Our 2021 Small Lot Zinfandel is full of sweet oak flavors that play a significant role in the wine's character but not one that overshadows its deep and generous fruit profile. Dark chocolate, nutmeg, and dried fig are prominent in the aroma profile alongside rich and expressive Zinfandel fruit. Jammy boysenberry and ripe plum form the core of the palate with supporting notes of black pepper and spice.

Our 2022 Sandstone Merlot is supple and beautifully balanced, showcasing aromas of ripe red cherry and plum that are complimented by creamy oak notes of sweet caramel and vanilla bean. Additional notes of white pepper, cardamom, and graphite provide more complexity and continue to develop as the wine breathes in the glass.

Our 2020 Limited Release Zinfandel is a beautiful representation of the classic, California varietal. On the palate you’ll find notes of jammy black currant and plum with supporting notes of chocolate cream and graham cracker crust.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is fully packed with notes of black cherry and red plums from front to back and its optimally ripened fruit is decked out with a generous measure of French oak spice including toasted vanilla bean, polished mahogany, and a hint of clove and winter spice.

Our 2019 Limited Release Petite Sirah is a wine where exuberant richness is honed by a judicious degree of crafting and tailoring. While predictably big and burly on the palate, this wine remains focused on its core aromas and flavors of black soils, violet florals, and rich blackberry compote.

Our 2020 Artist Series Serenity showcases plenty presence of rich, sweet oak including baked cinnamon and vanilla bean. These notes perfectly compliment the abundant blackberry and plum fruit flavors that form the body of this wine. There is a hint of black tea and white pepper that never lets you forget that Syrah is the core of this beautiful blend.

A tale of two vineyards, the 2020 Artist Series Duetto represents the thoughtful merger of two of Wente's best growing sites for Cabernet Sauvignon, the Karl and the Mel vineyards.
