Caitlin Bolin joined Wente Vineyards' Culinary Experiences Team in 2015.
Caitlin earned her degree in culinary arts and chef training from The Culinary Institute of America. She worked as a sous chef at a wine bar in Napa before taking a position as sous chef at Bardessono Hotel & Spa in 2013. Caitlin left Bardessono Hotel & Spa as the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join the team at Wente Vineyards. Caitlin’s experience both in the front of house and back of house makes her a dynamic and strategic manager.
Caitlin developed a cocktail program that focuses on creative, seasonal and clean ingredients, harvested from Wente Vineyards’ on-site organic garden whenever possible. Caitlin gives each cocktail a fun and thoughtful name, sometimes with an even better story.

Joshua Leidreiter is the Chef de Cuisine at Wente Vineyards Tasting Lounge. Joshua has been with Wente Vineyards since 2010 and most recently served as sous chef.
Joshua started his culinary career at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. Upon graduating in 2006, Joshua moved to the East Coast where he worked in various kitchens, learning new cooking techniques and staff management. Although, Joshua remained drawn to the California food scene which eventually led him back to the Bay Area. Not long after, he landed a position working at The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards, first under Chef Matt Greco and then Mark Duesler. He credits both with having a large impact on his career.
Joshua’s cooking style embraces the farm-to-table concept and focuses on flavor-forward dishes with seasonal ingredients, many coming from Master Gardeneer Diane Dovholuk’s on-site garden. There is a strong emphasis on wine pairings as well. At the Vineyard Table & Tasting Lounge, Joshua’s menu of shareable plates, large and small, pair seamlessly with the extensive selection of Wente Vineyard wines offered by the glass or bottle.
Joshua’s cooking is most inspired by the bounty of fresh ingredients that accompany the spring and summer seasons. He is especially passionate about tomatoes and stone fruits and uses them frequently in his dishes.
As Sommelier, Jorge Tinoco combines his passion for wine with his dedication to educating guests and staff alike on the myriad possibilities for pairing fine wine with gourmet cuisine. Tinoco works closely with the inspirations provided by Chef Josh Leidreiter to create a wine list that complements the seasonally changing menu. The wine list has won the prestigious Restaurant Hospitality Award in 2005 and 2006, and the Wine Spectator Best Award of Excellence “For an Outstanding Wine List” every year since opening in 1986 and is known as one of the most extensive wine menus in Northern California.
Tinoco joined Wente Vineyards as a bartender in 1996. He graduated from the San Francisco School of Bartending in 2005 and has studied winemaking at Napa Valley College. Tinoco has received the Level 3 Advanced Degree from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and the Advanced Degree from the US Sommelier Association. He has also achieved his Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) Degree from the Society of Wine Educators and the C.S. from the Court of Master Sommeliers. He has been featured in the Sommeliers’ Guide to Restaurants in America, most recently in its 5th edition.

Ami was born and raised here in Livermore. As a child, Ami and her friends would ride their bikes up to the dam of Lake Del Valle, always noticing Wente Vineyards right in her back yard. “It is such a beautiful place. To see Livermore grow and become a wine lover’s playground, why not make it the office that I come to everyday?”

Group dining packages offer a Wente Vineyards Wine Country experience with family style dining. Our ambassador team will guide you and your party through incredible wine and food pairings, as well as taking care of all of your service needs.
Group dining packages are for 15-26 guests. Additional enhancements to your event can include property tours and flight tastings that are offered for booking before your dining experience.
