The mouthfeel is slightly viscous and supple on entry, but manages to maintain youthful energy thanks to some carefully integrated supporting acidity that assures that the wine is as carefully balanced as it is wonderfully rich.

The 2022 Livermore Valley Wetmore Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of black currant and cassis, complemented by a hint of "Livermore Dust." Creamy oak notes bring roasted cocoa nibs and hardwood complexity. On the palate, the wine offers layers of ripe black cherry and plum, leading to a long, satisfying finish. The 2024 Eric's Chardonnay is unoaked to exemplify the beautiful varietal character of Livermore Valley Chardonnay. This unoaked Chardonnay is bursting with aromas of citrus, melon, and white flowers. The wine has bright flavors of honeydew and meyer lemon with a touch of minerality.

The Wente Clone Chardonnay is a limited-production release that is sourced from our Ernest and Eric Ranches, where the Wente family’s original heritage vines continue to thrive. It showcases the purity and character of the historic Wente Clone—layered with aromas of ripe green apple, pear, and citrus, and a palate that unfolds with apricot, minerality, and subtle creamy French oak. Sourced from select vineyards in the Livermore Valley, the Riva Ranch Sauvignon Blanc reflects a legacy rooted in one of California’s earliest plantings of the variety. In the 1870s, French emigrant Louis Mel introduced Sauvignon Blanc to the region using cuttings from the famed Château d’Yquem, drawn to Livermore’s gravelly soils and Bordeaux-like conditions. This is a classic Brut, with aromas and flavors of pear and dried apricot with hints of crème brulee and apple. It has nice complexity from the sur lies aging in the Methode Champenoise, and has a refreshing crispness and lingering vanilla cream aftertaste that pairs exceptionally well with food.

Our 2021 Serenity Red Wine is a proprietary blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah, Grenache, and Mourvedre that impresses with its exotic substance, riveting depth, and engaging complexity. There is plenty of sweet oak that showcases baked cinnamon and vanilla bean which perfectly compliments the abundant candied red cherry and dried fruit flavors.

Our 2020 Artist Series Serenity showcases plenty presence of rich, sweet oak including baked cinnamon and vanilla bean. These notes perfectly compliment the abundant blackberry and plum fruit flavors that form the body of this wine. There is a hint of black tea and white pepper that never lets you forget that Syrah is the core of this beautiful blend.

Dark chocolate, nutmeg, and dried fig are prominent in the aroma profile alongside rich and expressive Zinfandel fruit. Jammy boysenberry and ripe plum form the core of the palate with supporting notes of black pepper and spice.

Our Southern Hills Cabernet Sauvignon is named for our vineyards located along the southern hills of the Central Coast. The Wente family farms approximately 400 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards using the two clones originating from California wine pioneer Charles Wetmore’s Bordeaux cuttings in the 19th century.
