Founded in 1883, Wente Family Vineyards’ Legacy Series Cabernet Franc honors generations of craftsmanship with fruit sourced from carefully selected estate vines in Livermore Valley. Thoughtful clonal selection and precise winemaking—including small-lot fermentation and twenty months in French oak—create a beautifully balanced wine layered with red cherry, sun-warmed earth, baking spice, and subtle vanilla. Polished and quietly elegant, this medium-bodied Cabernet Franc is captivating now and will continue to evolve gracefully over the next seven years.

The 2024 Wente Vineyards Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc has beautiful aromatics of green melon and passion fruit framed by subtle sweet oak. The wine has flavors of ripe grapefruit and honeydew backed by bright acidity.

The Wente Clone Chardonnay is a limited-production release that is sourced from our Ernest and Eric Ranches, where the Wente family’s original heritage vines continue to thrive. It showcases the purity and character of the historic Wente Clone—layered with aromas of ripe green apple, pear, and citrus, and a palate that unfolds with apricot, minerality, and subtle creamy French oak. An expression of place and legacy, it honors the craftsmanship that helped shape California Chardonnay.
