The Wente Vineyard Tasting Lounge is nestled into the rolling hills of the Livermore Valley on a historic landmark property. We offer a selection of Certified Sustainable estate-grown wines in an idyllic setting in wine country. Make time to join us on the patio and soak up the beauty of the Livermore Valley with our new culinary experiences or with a glass of wine in hand. Enjoy wine tasting in the beautiful Bay Area.

NEW TASTING ROOM HOURS STARTING APRIL 1
Monday – Sunday, 11:00am – 6:00pm – *last tasting begins at 4:30pm
*Beginning April 1, 2024, the kitchen will be closed. As a result, we won’t be offering any food menu options for our Walk Up Bar Tastings. However, our Seated Wine Tasting Experience will still be available and will include delightful pairings of aged cheeses and crackers with each tasting. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Join us for a wine tasting experience, where you can savor the flavors of our newly released wines in a relaxed setting. Let our knowledgeable staff guide you through each pour, providing insights into the unique characteristics behind each wine.

Walk Up Bar Wine Tasting
$30 Non-Member | Included in Member Tasting Benefit
Join us for a leisurely wine-tasting experience, where you can savor the flavors of our newly released wines. You’ll have the opportunity to belly up to the bar and indulge in a flight of five wines. Ages 21 and over.
No reservation required! Walk-in only for the Walk-Up Bar Wine Tasting Experience. Open 11:00am – 6:00pm for Bar tastings.
Available in our cozy Rotunda Room and scenic Veranda Room.
Cave Tour & Barrel Tasting Experience
$75 per person | Club member discount applies
Discover the captivating history of Wente Vineyards’ caves and indulge in an unforgettable journey through our tirage building to the caves. Lose yourself in the enchanting atmosphere as you explore the caves and savor the extraordinary experience of a barrel tasting. Wrap up your experience by enjoying a finale of wine and aged cheese on our sun-kissed patio.

When are you open?

Can we bring outside food or a picnic?
No, we do not allow outside food. Our seated wine tasting experience comes with aged cheeses and crackers.
Can we bring our pets?
Only trained service animals are allowed, all other pets must stay at home.
Can we bring our children or infants?
Yes, Wente Vineyards welcomes families to our Cabernet Lawn for a wine by the bottle experience. Indoor and patio tastings are 21 years and older. We look forward to seeing you!
Are reservations required?
Reservations are encouraged to guarantee a seated tasting but are not required. We will do our best to accommodate walk-in wine tastings. Our Walk-up bar does not require a reservation.
Are club member tastings complimentary?
Yes, club members can enjoy complimentary wine tastings for up to four guests. Club members also receive discounts on experiences and additional tastings.
Is there still a restaurant at Wente Vineyards?
The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards has transitioned to the Wente Vineyards Tasting Lounge. Apart from our Seated Wine Tasting Experience, which comes with aged cheeses and crackers, we do not offer food to order at the Tasting Lounge. For a morning or afternoon meal, visit The Grill from 10 am to 6 pm.
Will there be an upcoming concert series at Wente Vineyards?
Our event program has evolved over the last few years. Though we no longer host large concerts at Wente Vineyards, we do have music events throughout the year. Be sure to join our mailing list to be the first to know about our upcoming events. 2024 Summer Live Music Series is from June – October.
