Wente Vineyards Partners with Dress for Success
Wente Vineyards partners with Dress For Success
We are excited to announce that Wente Vineyards is partnering with Dress For Success as part of our Women Behind Wente campaign.
Dress for Success Worldwide is a global non-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. For over ten years, Wente Vineyards has been fortunate to support the San Francisco Bay Area chapter for its annual fundraising Gala. This year Wente Vineyards is working with Dress For Success chapters in Houston, Twin Cities, Cincinnati, and more. In addition, we will have upcoming announcements on our partnership with the Dress For Success Worldwide Your Hour Her Power campaign. We will have more to announce in just a few weeks.
At Wente Vineyards, we are fortunate to have strong women leaders throughout many branches of our organization. Since 1977, women have had a voice and seat at the table – driving critical decision-making and growing Wente Vineyards into what it is today. Today we are fortunate enough to have three women leaders shaping Wente Vineyards wines from grape to glass. Niki Wente is the Director of Vineyard Operations, overseeing 3,000 vineyard acres and leading sustainable vineyard practices. Elizabeth Kester is the Director of Winemaking. Her goal is to create the most delicious wines that best express their varietal character and honor the place where the grapes are grown. Finally, Aly Wente is Vice President, Marketing & Customer Experience. Aly oversees marketing strategy and the experiences provided at the Tasting Lounge and The Grill at Wente Vineyards
It is a privilege to have the opportunity to partner with Dress for Success and support the mission and like-minded values of Wente Vineyards. On March 3rd, Wente Vineyards will host a Women Behind Wente Dinner, where some of the proceeds will go back to Dress for Success San Francisco Bay Area Chapter. The four-course dinner will be crafted by Chef Kathy Fang of Food Networks’ new show, Chef Dynasty: House of Fang. We will be joined by Wente Vineyard’s women wine leaders, Elizabeth Kester, Aly Wente, and Carolyn Wente. It should be a fun, engaging, and delicious dinner. We hope you join us.
