Sourced from select vineyards in the Livermore Valley, the Riva Ranch Sauvignon Blanc reflects a legacy rooted in one of California’s earliest plantings of the variety. In the 1870s, French emigrant Louis Mel introduced Sauvignon Blanc to the region using cuttings from the famed Château d’Yquem, drawn to Livermore’s gravelly soils and Bordeaux-like conditions. Today, this wine carries that heritage forward, offering a vibrant and expressive reflection of the valley’s distinctive terroir.

The debut vintage of our Riva Ranch Sauvignon Blanc opens with vibrant aromas of green melon, guava, and a hint of white peach.
