In the footsteps of the generations before us, we find ourselves celebrating 140 years of legacy, passion, and commitment to the art of winemaking. Every bottle that leaves our winery is a testament to the dedication of five generations and the enduring support of our extended family—you.

One of the highlights of this remarkable year was the unforgettable 140th Harvest Dinner in our beloved vineyards on September 9th. Surrounded by the lush vines that have been the heartbeat of our family for over a century, we shared a magical evening filled with laughter, exceptional wines, and the warmth of cherished company. It was a true celebration of the past, present, and the exciting future that lies ahead.

It was a year filled with exciting new additions. We were thrilled to introduce three new wines this year. Our Mount Diablo Highlands Red Blend—a bold expression of our commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. Additionally, our Sparkling Grenache and 140th Harvest Sparkling Brut releases added a touch of effervescence to our year. The response from our community has been overwhelming, and we are delighted to have shared these exceptional wines with you. Stay tuned for more exciting releases in 2024 and beyond as we continue to explore new horizons in winemaking.

We also want to express our gratitude to the more than 20,000 guests who graced the Wente Vineyards Tasting Lounge over the past year. We sang along with you at six tribute band concerts, raised glasses at our winemaker dinners, danced at the White Party, enjoyed live music on the patio and so much more in between. Your enthusiasm and appreciation for our craft inspire us to continue striving for excellence in everything we do, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Wente Vineyards in the coming year.
