The Wente Clone Chardonnay is a limited-production release that is sourced from our Ernest and Eric Ranches, where the Wente family’s original heritage vines continue to thrive. It showcases the purity and character of the historic Wente Clone—layered with aromas of ripe green apple, pear, and citrus, and a palate that unfolds with apricot, minerality, and subtle creamy French oak. An expression of place and legacy, it honors the craftsmanship that helped shape California Chardonnay.

The 2024 Eric's Chardonnay is unoaked to exemplify the beautiful varietal character of Livermore Valley Chardonnay. This unoaked Chardonnay is bursting with aromas of citrus, melon, and white flowers. The wine has bright flavors of honeydew and meyer lemon with a touch of minerality.

The 2025 Riva Ranch Chardonnay from Arroyo Seco layers ripe McIntosh apple, fresh Bartlett pear, and freshly baked bread with creamy oak, cedar spice, vanilla, and butter toffee. Rich and supple, it finishes with vibrant acidity and lasting balance.
