Beautiful dense color with aromas of mint, chocolate, and a hint of vanilla. Flavors of dark, ripe briar fruit on the palate, displaying baking spices and nuances of coffee beans that follow through the finish.

The 2021 Small Lot Cabernet Franc from Wente Vineyards is wonderfully layered with aromas of red cherry, baked cinnamon and molasses. Ripe red cherry continues to form the core of this wines flavor profile along with a touch of olive and warm vanilla oak into the finish. This medium bodied wine is polished and refined to such a degree that it is eminently attractive right now but should age and evolve beautifully for the next seven years.

Our 2021 Small Lot Zinfandel is full of sweet oak flavors that play a significant role in the wine's character but not one that overshadows its deep and generous fruit profile. Dark chocolate, nutmeg, and dried fig are prominent in the aroma profile alongside rich and expressive Zinfandel fruit. Jammy boysenberry and ripe plum form the core of the palate with supporting notes of black pepper and spice.

Our 2021 Meritage shows the balanced depth and richness that Bordeaux style blends bring to the table. The nose opens with red and black cherries, anise and currants framed by warm baking spice and vanilla bean French oak notes. The rich and full entry on the palate gives way to supple lingering tannins.

Our 2020 Small Lot Cabernet Franc is wonderfully layered with toasty oak richness, lovely aromas of lavender, and concentrated flavors of black cherry, herbs de Provence, and olive. The tannins provide enough structure to make this wine cellar worthy over the next five to eight years while also polished enough to enjoy today

Our 2020 Meritage shows the balanced depth and richness that Bordeaux style blends bring to the table. Rich, creamy French Oak blends with the layers of cinnamon, cardamom, and raw vanilla bean. These notes are matched equally by a generous concentration of fully ripened black currants, juicy black cherries, and rich plum jam.

Our 2020 Limited Release Zinfandel is a beautiful representation of the classic, California varietal. On the palate you’ll find notes of jammy black currant and plum with supporting notes of chocolate cream and graham cracker crust.

Our 2019 Limited Release Petite Sirah is a wine where exuberant richness is honed by a judicious degree of crafting and tailoring. While predictably big and burly on the palate, this wine remains focused on its core aromas and flavors of black soils, violet florals, and rich blackberry compote.

Our 2019 Zinfandel is a beautiful representation of the classic, California varietal. This wine opens with aromatics of pepper, clove, and a hint of charcoal. On the palate, you’ll find notes of French vanilla and blackberry finishing with a round mouthfeel.

The 2023 Wente Vineyards Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc has beautiful aromatics of green melon and passion fruit framed by subtle sweet oak. The wine has flavors of ripe grapefruit and honeydew backed by bright acidity.
