The 2022 Sonata Red Wine is an Australian inspired blend of Cabernet and Syrah that impresses with its exotic substance and engaging complexity. Abundant aromas of blackberry and plum fruit form the essence of this elegantly styled wine. Complimentary oak spices of fresh vanilla bean with a hint of glazed caramel do an excellent job of framing the core of dark fruit flavors in the mid-palate. Our 2020 Meritage shows the balanced depth and richness that Bordeaux style blends bring to the table. Rich, creamy French Oak blends with the layers of cinnamon, cardamom, and raw vanilla bean. These notes are matched equally by a generous concentration of fully ripened black currants, juicy black cherries, and rich plum jam.

Our 2019 Limited Release Petite Sirah is a wine where exuberant richness is honed by a judicious degree of crafting and tailoring. While predictably big and burly on the palate, this wine remains focused on its core aromas and flavors of black soils, violet florals, and rich blackberry compote.

A tale of two vineyards, the 2020 Artist Series Duetto represents the thoughtful merger of two of Wente's best growing sites for Cabernet Sauvignon, the Karl and the Mel vineyards. The 2023 Wente Vineyards Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc has beautiful aromatics of green melon and passion fruit framed by subtle sweet oak. The wine has flavors of ripe grapefruit and honeydew backed by bright acidity.

This is a classic Brut, with aromas and flavors of pear and dried apricot with hints of crème brulee and apple. It has nice complexity from the sur lies aging in the Methode Champenoise, and has a refreshing crispness and lingering vanilla cream aftertaste that pairs exceptionally well with food.
