The 2023 Riva Ranch Vineyard Pinot Noir is a vibrant and expressive representation of the Arroyo Seco appellation. This vintage opens with youthful aromas of ripe black cherries, red currants, and earthy undertones, elegantly layered with notes of toasty oak spice, including hints of baked cinnamon, clove, and toasted brioche. Our 2021 Serenity Red Wine is a proprietary blend of Syrah, Petite Sirah, Grenache, and Mourvedre that impresses with its exotic substance, riveting depth, and engaging complexity. There is plenty of sweet oak that showcases baked cinnamon and vanilla bean which perfectly compliments the abundant candied red cherry and dried fruit flavors.

Our 2020 Artist Series Serenity showcases plenty presence of rich, sweet oak including baked cinnamon and vanilla bean. These notes perfectly compliment the abundant blackberry and plum fruit flavors that form the body of this wine. There is a hint of black tea and white pepper that never lets you forget that Syrah is the core of this beautiful blend.

Our 2020 Meritage shows the balanced depth and richness that Bordeaux style blends bring to the table. Rich, creamy French Oak blends with the layers of cinnamon, cardamom, and raw vanilla bean. These notes are matched equally by a generous concentration of fully ripened black currants, juicy black cherries, and rich plum jam.

Our 2021 Small Lot Zinfandel is full of sweet oak flavors that play a significant role in the wine's character but not one that overshadows its deep and generous fruit profile. Dark chocolate, nutmeg, and dried fig are prominent in the aroma profile alongside rich and expressive Zinfandel fruit. Jammy boysenberry and ripe plum form the core of the palate with supporting notes of black pepper and spice.

The 2022 Wente Vineyards Small Lot Zinfandel is full of ripe plum, black pepper, warm vanilla and dark chocolate. Jammy blackberry and fig form the core of the palate along with supporting notes of black pepper and spice. Deeply filled with vibrant acidity and a firm spine of tannins, this wine offers up enough balance for indulgent early drinking but also plenty of fruity depth and structure to justify laying a few aside to explore its aging potential.

Our Southern Hills Cabernet Sauvignon is named for our vineyards located along the southern hills of the Central Coast. The Wente family farms approximately 400 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards using the two clones originating from California wine pioneer Charles Wetmore’s Bordeaux cuttings in the 19th century. With well-drained rocky soils and unique microclimates, the Southern Hills vineyards are in the most desirable settings, with exposures ideal for growing Cabernet Sauvignon of distinct character, depth, and intensity.
